It responds by elegantly integrating into the slope—maintaining a modest profile and seemingly retreating into the hillside slope. In a community where the regulatory environment is prohibitive to most, the design works with the land to preserve and augment a rare and beautiful natural setting.

Protegidos por un gran grupo de robles costeros maduros, tanto la casa como el paisaje circundante están elegantemente escalonados, revelando capas de espacios cada vez más privados. El nivel principal fluye hacia patios descendentes a través de paredes de vidrio operables, invitando a la actividad a moverse sin problemas entre el interior y el exterior. Arriba, las habitaciones privadas y un estudio de oficina independiente se retiran al bosque mientras se abren a terrazas en la azotea sutilmente ocultas.
